| Mr. Bo Linnemann | Danmark |
Bo Linnemann, graphic designer, architect, and professor at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts / School of Architecture, has been hugely influential in transforming the face of official Denmark. Together with Kim Meyer Andersen, he founded Kontrapunkt in 1985, and from the early 1990s onwards, the company was responsible for creating the visual identities for numerous Danish national ministries, boards, and other institutions such as the Royal Theatre, The Royal Library, The National Museum and the University of Copenhagen. This work has resulted in a book and an exhibition which focus on national identity amidst internationalisation and globalisation. The exhibition has travelled as far as China, Korea, Japan, the US, and Israel.
Furthermore, the company has carried out branding projects and designed corporate identities for a large number of renowned Danish and international companies, and this has resulted in many Danish and international design prizes, most recently the Danish Design Prize for the design programme for Billund Airport, and the French Trophée d’Or for the corporate typeface
for the airport.
