Welcome to the Danish Center for Culture and Development

Danish Center for Culture and Development (DCCD) promotes cultural co-operation between Denmark and the developing countries in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Middle East.

We present art and culture from the developing countries in co-operation with partners in Denmark and abroad
We provide information and advice about cultural exchange and co-operation
We allocate funds for Danish cultural co-operation with developing countries
We co-ordinate and implement festivals in Denmark for the developing world's cultures
We facilitate capacity building within the cultural sector in the developing countries as well as present Danish art and culture
The center provides the framework for large initiatives such as the Images festivals and information projects. The next Images Festival is My World Images in September 2010

> CULTURAL EXCHANGE WITH DENMARK

	New African DCCD Project The project supports cultural networks in Africa south of the Sahara.	Bilateral Cultural Strategy
	Middle East Culture Network Programme The programme focuses on five art forms; dance, theatre, film, music, and visual art.	Culture and Development, Strategy and Guidelines "No development without Culture".

> CULTURAL CO-OPERATION WITH THE MIDDLE EAST
		Alliance of Civilizations The report Moving Beyond Stereotypes from the conference held in May 2006 by DCCD in co-operation with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs
	Anna Lindth Foundation The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark has made DCCD national co-ordinator of the Danish ALF network.	Residence Project Young talented artists from the Middle East and Denmark are brought together for mutual inspiration.

	RAdius of Art Radius is an international Artist-in-Residence and exchange programme designed to enable artists working in the field of visual arts to engage in art research and art production beyond the familiar context of their respective culture and society.
